About Divorce Navigator

Helping you navigate family court with clarity and realism

I'm your Divorce Navigator, a trained McKenzie Friend supporting people through divorce and family court. I help you understand the process, prepare properly, and stay focused on what actually matters to the court — without overwhelm, unnecessary conflict, or false reassurance.

I'm divorced myself. At the time, I didn't understand the system, didn't know what questions to ask, and let the process happen to me rather than feeling able to challenge or engage with it. That experience is one of the reasons I now support others through the practical reality of family court, so they don't feel as lost or powerless as I once did.

I use the term Divorce Navigator because my role isn't to give legal advice or take over decisions. It's to help you make sense of where you are in the process, what your options are, and what each step actually involves.

My support is practical and non-judgmental. I don't promise quick fixes or outcomes. I help you prepare carefully, understand the terrain, and make informed choices at each stage.

Bridge The Gap and Divorce Navigator are companion projects by the same creator, designed to help litigants in person navigate family court.

Please note: My role is to provide practical, process‑focused support. I do not give legal advice. Legal advice is often needed at key points, and I regularly encourage people to seek advice from a family solicitor. Many clients work with me alongside their solicitor, using legal advice for legal decisions and practical support to manage the process around it.
